Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for performing the duties associated with the dispensing of compounded and non-compounded products. Furthermore, you will assist in the day-to-day activities of the ‘Dispensing’ function of the Pharmacy Services department and ensure that the operation complies with all associated legal requirements due to effective management.

The post is working with other Pharmacists of the Pharmacy Services Team in order to provide a professional, responsive and efficient clinical support service to both external and internal customers at all times.

Candidates will be Registered Pharmacists, desirably with experience in aseptic compounding. Additional pharmaceutical manufacturing experience would also be beneficial. You will also need clear knowledge of the legal requirements for prescription management in accordance with the RPSGB.

You should also have a flexible approach in developing proactive solutions for resolving issues or for continual improvement, as the nature of our role requires a high degree of flexibility.
